Campwin Beach is a suburb of Central Coast,
Queensland and is about 775 kms north-northwest
of QLD's capital city of Brisbane. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Campwin
Beach was 575 when there were 277 Females and
298 Males living there.
Campwin beach lies to the north of the rocks and
is 350 m long, faces east and receives waves
averaging 0.5 m. It has a relatively steep high tide
beach and a 200 m wide low tide bar. The beach is
backed by four rows of houses and has a store and
small beachfront reserve with basic facilities. A
boat ramp into Castrades Inlet is located at the
back of the beach.
